As a VMware partner, ITX Solutions delivers virtual solutions across server and blade platforms for all customer types. ITX Solutions comprehensive virtualization solutions can reduce your server sprawl, as well as, increase your system uptime dramatically.

Why VMware?
VMware solutions can save you money and resources, IF you do it right. However, it is very important to design the right solutions and absolutely critical to architect the implementation of the solution.

Virtualization solutions can drastically improve server utilization by running multiple virtual servers on a single physical server. VMware’s virtualization solutions can meet all your needs and provide an optimized system that uses your hardware to its full potential by simplifying your infrastructure and lowering your total cost of ownership.

Virtually everything you need
Optimized utilization isn’t just for the largest and most complex systems. As a VMware Enterprise Partner, we’ve invested in the training and have the expertise to plan, design and implement an effective virtualization solution that’s right for you. Any business can benefit from the streamlined approach of VMware virtualization.

Virtualization can help your IT budget by improving several facets of your IT infrastructure:

  • Server hardware
  • Server maintenance
  • Power and cooling
  • UPS capacity
  • KVM port costs
  • Fibre Channel port costs
  • High speed network port costs
  • Rack space
  • Downtime

VMware Virtual Infrastructure 3
The de facto standard in virtualization on Intel and AMD Architecture servers is VMware’s flagship product - VI3. Recently named InfoWorld 2007 technology of the year, VI3 has proven itself to be invaluable for more than 200,000 customers—entry-level to global enterprises. This is a suite version of virtualization software, which has been tested extensively to work with the widest range of machines, operating systems and software.

VMware ESX Server
ESX Sever is a robust, production-proven virtualization layer that abstracts processor, memory, storage and networking resources into multiple virtual machines. The ESX Server delivers the highest levels of performance and scalability required for enterprise IT environments.

VMware Server
Unlike ESX Server, VMware’s Server product (based on the previous generation’s GSX Server) runs on top of another operating system, such as Windows or Linux. It can perform many of the robust features of the ESX product and is available to receive the same enterprise class support of the higher end products. This is a powerful and effective starting point for companies wishing to experiment with VMware in a development situation prior to committing to a full deployment.

VMware Virtual SMP
With this software in place, a single virtual machine can see up to four physical processors simultaneously. Scaling is much easier when multiple processors can be accessed through a single virtual machine.

VMware High Availability (HA)
This program does just what it says—it delivers high availability across your entire virtualized system. There is no need for expensive and outdated clustering or stand-by hardware when you can protect your infrastructure with an application that monitors your virtual machines and automatically restarts affected machines.

VMware DRS
VMware’s Distributed Resource Scheduler is dynamic and intelligent software. Once applied, it monitors utilization and allocates available resources accordingly. It’s customizable to your needs.

VMware MVotion & Storage VMotion
For most systems, server migration means downtime. With VMotion, your virtual server is readily available while you migrate from one physical server to another without stopping the virtual machine or impacting access to the users, decreasing downtime and increasing productivity. Storage VMotion adds the opportunity to migrate storage disks with no downtime. The combination of these applications allows for more proactive IT management and greater transaction integrity while moving information from one disk to another.

VMware VMFS & VMware Consolidated Backup
VMware VMFS provides centralized storage for virtualized systems and is completely unique to VMware, allowing even the most complex systems to be managed with an uncomplicated and effective storage method. VMware Consolidated Backup performs centralized virtual machine back-ups at any time.

ITX Solutions has the experience to help you:

  • Inventory your current systems
  • Analyze your current server utilization
  • Architect the VMware solutions
  • Size the solution appropriately to match your needs
  • Plan for a migration to VMware
  • Implement a migration
  • Develop the skills needed to manage your new VMware environment
